BAD Experience.
My sister and I purchased a 'spa day' for my mom's birthday at Bella salon and spa. We booked manicures, pedicures, and 30 min massages for all three of us. We were super excited for a day of
pampering.....
When we got there, they immediately did the manicures and pedicures. BEFORE the massage. Which meant that when we went to lay on the bed and they covered us with a blanket, our freshly painted toenails were ruined. Even the massage therapists mentioned that it was poor planning.
Secondly, the woman painting my nails was horrible. At one point, she even made a comment like, "I don't know why they make me do this. I keep telling them not to let me, I'm slow and horrible." And I completely agreed. As soon as I got home, I had to remove the fingernail polish as it looked as though a 4 year old painted my nails. It's really not that hard to do. And now, my fingernails are all peeling at the tips. I'm not sure what was done wrong, but I never have issues with my nails normally.
I DO NOT recommend this place for a relaxing spa day. It is more trouble than it's worth. And I WILL NOT be returning there. For what we paid, we deserved a LOT more.…
Pretty Good Place to Get Hair Done.
I'm only giving Bella 3 stars because I feel at times its a bit of a crapshoot on whether you're going to get a good colorist. I've never had a bad haircut from there and have been going there for
about 7 years now. I used to get my hair colored and highlighted every few months. Every time I found a good stylist I really like, it seemed they would leave. So each time I had a different person doing my hair. There have been several times that when I got my hair colored there, they did a fabulous job and I got lots of compliments. However, one time I went there to get highlights, I ended up with very very brassy streaks in my hair. I actually had random people asking me if I had done that to myself! There have been a couple other times that while my hair didn't turn out horrible, it was just blah.
I've always gone elsewhere to get my nails done so I can't really speak to that aspect of it.
One more issue that I have with Bella is their choice of products. I absolutely hate Bumble and Bumble and think that it's overpriced garbage. I do like the Procolor line of products they carry though and my hair seemed so much more healthy after using it.…
