My home away from home!. I recently moved here from Colorado for work and was a little hesitant so i had checked out a few different places in town. I joined this one because the staff members new almost everyone by name as we looked around. So when i say its my home away from home its because all my new friends are here. Not to mention they just remodeled the whole club a week after I joined!

Finally a club that doesn't feel like a meat market. I have been involved with a few different clubs in the western suburbs. When I was in my 20's I appreciated the social / singles feel that a few of them inspired. As time went by... the outgoing nature of some of these clubs got old and stale.

I recently joined Fitness World West. I love it. I have a busy schedule (work, family, etc) and finding time to exercise is not easy. Fitness World is a no fuss atmosphere that allows me get a focused work out... when I want to work out. They have a nice array of cardo equipment and a solid number of cardio based classes. The staff is nice and non-obtrusive.

Very likeable gym. My friend Cindy told me about this place so I got a pass to come in with her. I was pretty nervous but Nick met me with a big smile and showed me around. I found him funny in a nerdy way but he made me feel welcome. I find I love the aerobics classes the best, especially the yoga/pilates. I have to admit I am probably going to be a lifer here. The people are warm and it has become one of the highlights of my morning. Highly recommend going. I just wish Nick did valet parking for us. (inside joke if he ever reads haha!)

Group Fitness classes. I joined Fitness World West 1 year ago for the group classes. They are included in my membership. All of the classes are great, lots of energy, everyone is having funnn!! The instructors are so motivating and keep you going the whole time.They also have a wide variety to choose from. Great classes!!!

Would join here again!. Ok, I recently joined here a month ago and i have to say for the price you get way more than you would expect. Staff members are learning me by name there so it makes it easy to ask for help if I need it. There are many different kinds of cardio machines than you expect a place to have (not to mention tv's on them) so i dont get bored. ton's of weights and NO WAITING for machines (finally!) I guess i just feel i have landed into a comfortable spot and wanted to share for anyone else looking for the same experience.

Great Place to Join!. i have been a member for a year and half now... its a smaller facility so you see the same people and the staff is VERY friendly and always helps out! I have even had trainers help me out with things when they see im doing something wrong and im not even paying for one! I have a GREAT price for my membership which includes unlimited daycare, tanning and classes... Kids play area is very clean and nice... wide variety of classes and caring people. I have been to alot of other gyms and they are too big and impersonal.. FFW is a great place to join!

AVOID ALLTOGETHER.. TO OLD, CRUMBLING, TO EXPENSIVE, NOT WORTH IT !!!. THIS FACILITY IS OLD AND CRUMBLING. THE FEES ARE WAY OUT OF LINE, AND WAY TO EXPENSIVE. THEY USED TO GIVE 3 MONTHS FOR FREE WITH A MEMBERSHIP OR RENEWAL.. NOT ANYMORE !! LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A NEWER FACILITY. THE MENS SHOWERS ARE COMMUNITY SHOWERS.. NO PRIVACY. THEY NEED TO REDUCE THE PRICES FOR WHAT THEY OFFER (WHICH IS NOT MUCH).
