This is probably the only place to eat pizza. There are probably one a couple of good places to eat pizza in this town. Felix and Oscars is one of them. I travel all over the country eating out and unless you want some idiot throwing freeze dried toppings on machine made dough this is it. Forget about service or a pizza nazi, put up with it. They've made one way for more than 30 years in the same location. Doesn't matter what the price is either. nuff said

Never Again. We have been to the Felix and Oscars on Merle Hay 2 times now and will NOT be going back!! Both times we waited forever for service and this time we ordered the pizza that everyone raves about. We were the only one's there and it took 45 min to get a med pizza and it was not even hot ! :( The waitress did more talking on the phone than she did waiting tables....and from the looks of things she needed to be spending some time cleaning.

Our table had dried food on it, the booth had crumbs all over, there was pop or something splashed all over the walls that never for cleaned.....yuck!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Best deep dish pizza around. This is my favorite deep dish pizza!!! Most often I have it delivered - I'm a regular. Extra, extra tomato sauce makes the sausage & mushroom perfect. I love the slightly sweet tomato sauce. The crust is thick, but crispy. I've tried lots of others & was disappointed, this is the best.

A must when in Des Moines. I have to tell ya, I am not the biggest pizza fan but I cannot seem to get enough of the Cheese Topper. I cannot pass through Des Moines with out stopping to get Pizza. The wait staff is very attentive and wonderfull!! I highly recommend Felix and Oscars

AWESOME FOOD!!!. Try the LARGE Chicago-style CHEESE TOPPER!!!! Lots of games/pool/darts and also NTN trivia.

8. Best Chicago Style pizza in Iowa! No grease and great crust. Can't wait to try the thin style next time. Give this place a shot
