Horrible Experience. My bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding didn't fit after they altered it twice. On the third time I went in and it still didn't fit they offered to tack a huge pucker of fabric on the side of the dress and hope no one would notice. When I told them no that was not going to happen, they preceded to try to let the dress out to see why it was bunching in that area. This meant they cut a hole in the side of the liner in the dress, it still didn't fix the problem. Because my sister's wedding was in 2 days they said the only thing they could do was rush to fix it and it was going to cost even more money. I told them to forget it, I was not going to pay them again for alterations that were obviously not working. They charged me $25.00 to cut a hole in the side of my dress which they didn't fix. I paid the bill and will never ever go back. I ended up fixing the dress myself and it fit perfectly. I am not a seamstress and I was able to figure it out. Save yourself the time and hassle, go somewhere else.

the worst place ever. this is as low a score as i can give stacy's, so here it is. they were completely unhelpful the second they get my money. when i called at least 20 times to try to fix a dress that was sent to me, that was 4 sizes too big, they gave me the run-around for 2 weeks, promising to call back with an answer and never calling back. by the time i finally got someone to talk to me it was too late to get a different dress at the right size. to add insult to injury i found the same dress at a different boutique at half the price. save yourself time, money and a giant headache and go anywhere else.

Best place to be fitted for bras also. I have gone to Stacey's ever since I had breast cancer. I moved to Las Vegas and I make it a point to fly back to Des Moines at least once a year to get new bras and prosthetics. The personnel always make you feel so comfortable and are very knowledgeable about the fit and etc. If I ever need anything in a hurray - all I have to do is phone and they have it taken care of. Tremendous to work with and they care about everyone they fit. I am continually impressed by the Stacey's and I know you will be too. I recommend Stacey's to everyone I know.
