Best Hot Italian Sausage Sandwich Ever!. I moved away from Des Moines almost 2 years ago. Whenever I come back I always go to B&B Grocery to get their hot italian sausage sandwich. Grilled italian sausage with melted cheese on italian bread...makes my mouth water just thinking about it. You really have to go there to know what I'm talking about.

The best thing for me now that I live in Minnesota is that they sell their italian sausage at their meat counter. There's nothing like their sausage in Minnesota. I usually buy 20 pounds to take home with me. In fact, I'm getting low. Must be time for a trip to Des Moines and more importantly to B&B Grocery.

Dad's Killer lived up to it's name!!!. I went to B&B after learning their Dad's Killer sandwich was voted as Des Moines Best Deli Sandwich. I ordered one. It was made fresh right in front of me. I couldn't believe the size of it. It was a great sandwich!!! The atmosphere at this place is great. There needs to be more places like this in Des Moines!!!
