Not going to earn a Michelin star, that's for sure

This was my first experience with Chinese food in Des Moines. I can't say that the other reviewer is wrong in ranking it the "best in the South side", but if that's the case, pickin's are slim. My sweetie and I ordered different dishes. They were edible, not dangerous in any biological sense, but that's about the best I can say for either dish.

The fare seemed somewhat similar to that you might find in a mall food court. Chinese restaurants on my refuse-to-go list in other cities actually look inviting in comparison.

In short, if you're from the area maybe, but if you hail from a locale with a bounty of good Asian eateries, this will not be your salvation.

• Cons: Just not very good

Best neighborhood Chinese restaurant on the South side.

Great place for every member of your family. Great service as well as great food. I highly recommend it.
