Less Than I Expected. We travel for club basketball and stay many weekends at hotels across the state. I usually don't check reviews with Holiday Inns I book as I have had only a rare experience with any problems in cleanliness or service. I will say one positive, the service was excellent. Beyond that, the room smelled incrediby musty, was very small, the bathroom was so small only one person could stand in there and it had no fan which forced you to leave the door ajar to be able to stand the heat if you were showering. Because of that the room became even more sticky and hot. We had to turn our air down to 54 just to try to keep it cool. In fairness to the property I called down to the desk and they did send someone up to check it when we were gone to games that day. Unfortunately, no improvement when we returned. Toilet was difficult to flush and sheets felt damp just due to humidity inside. Very easy to hear outside noise in adjouning rooms along with in hallway. Was not a good experience for a Holiday Inn and I too am a priority club member. I think they have some work to do to update this facility. I would be hesitant to recommend this property to anyone. I heard numerous other complaints from our team and if we return to Des Moines next year for this tournament will definitely seek lodging somewhere else.

Great Value. Very pleasant; nice people, great restaurant (Bennigans), plus everything is included; wireless, cookies at arrival, popcorn in lobby, free computers in buz ctr. I would recommend

Worst Holiday Inn Ever. I've been a Priority Club Member for nearly 16-years. This was by far the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. Ironically, it is also the most money I've ever paid ($140) for one room with two queen beds.

Room #206 had scum on the doors; the toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor; the toilet handle stuck...even the ceramic coffee cup leaked coffee onto the bed sheets (I thought I was being "punked"). There was no extra blanket, as is typical; the shower handle in the pool shower was missing and unusable; the TV remote was difficult to use; and the air conditioner sounded like a B52 bomber. In the morning, the thin walls enabled me to be surrenaded by the screaming baby next door.

Yep, it was by far the worst Holiday Inn experience and the most I've spent.

Family- and business-friendly hotel features modern accommodations at reasonable prices.. In Short
Since 1995, this smaller sister chain to the Sheraton has prided itself on its big draw: affordable rates. The modern accommodations feature large beds, work areas, coffeemakers and hair dryers. Complimentary Internet access and bottled water are also provided in every room. Other amenities include meeting facilities and fast check-in and check-out times. Most locations also have an indoor or an outdoor pool.
