Best experience ever

I have been to many doctor's offices in multiple states and I have never had a better experience than at Urbandale Family Physicians. Each staff member, be it the person behind the desk or the doctor doing the examination, has been caring, professional, friendly and genuinely interested in fixing whatever problem may be prevalent. I have been a walk-in patient twice and both times I have had minimal wait and amazing service. Dr. Molis and Dr. Shirk are the two doctors I have had contact with and I am 100% impressed by both. They go above and beyond to provide the best care possible. For example, Dr. Shirk has called me long after office hours to give me test results-furthermore, he asked many follow up questions during that call to help them figure out what was happening. He remembered exactly who I was, what I looked like, and other things that cannot be found in my medical chart. He has set the standard for care high, and I would recommend Urbandale Family Physicians to anyone in the Des Moines area. You could not possibly be disappointed by this incredible establishment.

Walk-in Doctor's Office on weekends, evenings

Professional, caring doctors, love their walk-in hours, avoids trips to ER, saving big-time on money. Sometimes slow, but they can't help or predict that as it's a walk-in clinic in evenings and weekends so just depends on how many people sick. They do their best to get people in and out as quick as they can. Nice waiting room, friendly staff. I love that we don't have to go to the ER on weekends when someone is sick.

• Cons: Can be lengthy wait, depends on how many walk-ins they get
