doesn't last even a year!

Not even a year ago purchased several pair of SAS shoes, quite expensive, but worth it if they were as good as touted. Not even a year later... one pair definitely needs to be resoled! Went to local SAS shop here in Albuquerque, NM to be told that SAS stores are independent dealers and only if we had purchased the shoes here in NM, (we were visiting family in Des Moines, Iowa Area) would they even look at them.
One needs to know that just because they are SAS shoes, different SAS stores do not honor any sort of quarantee! It is difficult since I have a narrow foot, they were more than glad to order needed size and mail them to my home address in New Mexico... just out of luck from there!
- Pros: IF shoes would last more than 9-10 months, ok
- Cons: no way to have any type of guarantee.
