Lovely Surprise in Des Moines -. Excellent Food - I had Potato Soup and Acorn Squash Rissotto which were both phenolenal - this was only topped by the service - I was made to wait for only 2-3 minutes and the manager was so apologetic he provided a free dessert - There house specialty cheesecake which like the soup and rissoto was out of this world -

Wonderful. Whenever I am in the Des Moines area, I try to make it to Cosi's. The atmosphere is classy, especially when the fireplaces are lit! The lightly spiced bread they serve with oil and cracked pepper is superb. Their meals are wonderfully put together. My favorite meal is their alfredo al pollo and I top off the evening with a caramel Italian soda with cream. What more could you ask for?
