The last time my family had pizza at Polito's Pizza in Bondurant, the Cockroaches were running at large.
Don Polito has now aquired the La Pizza House in Des Moines, and he will operate it in the same fashion. (FILTH)

Best Pizza around

The new manager is awesome! He came to us throughout the meal, made us feel welcome, Also I havent had pizza this good since Joes pizza in altoona was open. Real pizza the way it should be made. every thing was great. Try the onion rings!

- Cons: needs to be closer to me so i can go more often!

like the good days ,lots of meat ,thin cist thanks alot ,would take my kids ,mom dad , all my freinds ,it good to see things can be done the way like in 1952 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do Not Recommend

I would not recommend this restaurant at all! The service was terrible. We sat for 10 minutes an nobody acknowledged us, the server was lazy and rude when she did finally serve us. Not a single person in the restaurant said "thank you". The pizza was good, however again, service was extremely slow. What was more distrubing, this establishment has decided to post copies of people's bounced checks in the entry way. I'm sure they are upset they bounced, however it is extremely irresponsible to post people's name's, bank's and account numbers for other customers to see. Especially since you don't even accept checks anymore. Not an establishment I want to do business with.
