I've stayed at the Embassy Suites several times and each time it has been a great place to stay. The presidential suite is especially nice. During the summer there are concerts at the Simon Estes Theater, its really nice to get a room after the concert. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and the free breakfast is good too. Its in a really cool part of the city too, East Village has some of the most unique and interesting shops in Des Moines.
At this upscale, all-suite hotel chain, guests enjoy abundant amenities and a free cooked-to-order breakfast.

In 1984, the first Embassy Suites location debuted in Overland Park, Kan. Today, the property's luxury accommodations make it an ideal hotel for conferences, special events and weddings. All hotel rooms are spacious two-room suites that include a separate living area with a sofa bed and desk, a private bedroom, two televisions, a wet bar, a refrigerator and a coffeemaker. Guests may also attend a nightly reception with beverages.
