Can a person love their hair more than their neighbor?

I'm very glad to have found Atelier! I've moved here from Colorado and it has been moderately challenging to find a stylist that works as an artist. This small, quaint salon makes one feel elite. It's in the middle of downtown so I often enjoy the farmer's marker before my appointments!

I get A LOT of compliments on my cut and color. I'm scared to go anywhere else - being the blunt cut jungle it is out here!

Great place to get your hair cut!

I would so recommend using Tiffany Mally! I told her I had a big event coming up and she talked with me in length about what I wanted to do with my hair. She listened and offered suggestions and then together we decided what to do with not only the style but also the color.

It was an awesome experience and I am still going to Tiffany! I promise you won't be disappointed!!!

what a team!!! Meredith took some much time to understand what i wanted with my color. She just knows what color looks good with your skin !

Tiff made my hair look soooooooooo pretty! she is the best @ cutting hair. I just can't believe that she is only $30 for a hair cut!!

Meredith and tiffany work so good together! I didn't not know what I wanted with my hair!!! They worked with me and asked a lot of questions .

My hair is sooooo pretty!! they really know their stuff!! I am going to tell all my friend about them!!!

I went to the salon in hopes that somebody could tell me what looks good. I always wanted to be a red head but always walked out with it to brown or to orange. Meredith got the color right. 1st time. It is so pretty and natural. You must go and get your hair done there. You will get the best color in iowa

Wow! I had heard great things about this salon, so I decided to give it a shot. After some so-so cuts/colors at a WDM salon, I was ready for a change. I am SO glad I went!! Meredith gave me the most thorough color consultation I have ever had! She was very knowlegable!! My color looks amazing-I've had so many compliments!!! Tiffany cut/styled my hair, all while explaining what she was doing, and how I could create the same look at home. She was awesome! Hands down, best cut/color I have ever had!! The atmosphere is great, they are so friendly!! I can't say enough about the experience-I will definitely be back!

I have to admit that it was a bit of a struggle to get me to step foot in a fancy salon! I used to think they were overpriced and that great clips could do the same for less. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! I went to Atelier on a friend's recommendation, and I was blown away! Each girl specializes in either cutting or coloring, so they really are experts. They have a talent that you just don't see anywhere else, at least in the Des Moines area. I have been there twice now, and each time I walked away with a completely different, unique, and amazing look! The atmosphere is so friendly and upscale - it reminded me of a French boudoire. I felt pampered and special by all the girls. Michele spent so much more time and effort on my color than anyone else ever has to get it just perfect. And Tiffany made my cut and style look totally glam! It was so much more than a hair cut! I felt like a movie star! And best of all, Tiffany shows you how to get the look yourself at home. The girls really focus on giving you something realistic that you can maintain and afford but that also looks stunning. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON FOR PERSONAL ATTENTION AND SERVICE!!!

Atelier Hairspace is by far the best salon in the Des Moines area, it is the total package, great stylists, fabulous products, a good location and a cool but inviting atmosphere! Meredith colored my hair about a month ago and not only did it turn out PERFECTLY I had an amazing time with her. Meredith is such a sweet and talented stylist; we just laughed and had a great time! While I have not actually had services with the other girls I have seen them work and they are also a lot of fun and equally talented. The atmosphere of the salon is also fabulous; it has the feel of a New York style salon but with a warm and welcoming feel. Having been a stylist for 3 years myself I am very picky about where I go to get my hair done, but Atelier surpassed every expectation I had! Atelier provides excellent services but also and excellent experience!

MEREDITH IS THE BEST!!!!

I just move to Iowa and got real BAD HAIR COLOR!! I found this salon on city search. I liked how small and personal it was.

Meredith Did my color and gave me exactly what I wanted. She listen to me and asked a lot of questions. I could just tell she knew what she was doing. My color looks so soft and pretty. I think this is the best color ever!!!! Thank you MEREDITH!!!

I was tried of going to big Salons that don't listen to you.

I heard of Atelier. I just got my hair cut and color and LOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE it.!!!

They listen to what I wanted.

Professional, knowledgeable, and affordable!

I have just moved to the area from Los Angeles, where I had a great supply of "movie star" salons in my reach. After reading the reviews, Atelier Hairspace proved to be a 5 star salon. Tiffany gave me a professional consultation on my options, and listened to my long list of questions and concerns. I walked out with a haircut almost exactly as Tiffany described in the consultation. The atmosphere was trendy and lofty, and I had no problem with the parking with a 5 o'clock appt. I finally have a hair stylist I can visit regularly!!!

Great color and cut!!!

Being new to the area I was concerned about finding a great colorist/ stylist. I looked up places and saw the reviews for this salon. Had my hair done yesterday and I am impressed and extremely happy with the results! I have gone to the same person for 8 years in my previous state and am very loyal, so I wanted to find a new stylist here that I would love, and I have! Nicki and Tiffany were great and I would highly recommend them!! The prices were pretty normal from my past salon, so no issues there either! Very happy!!
